Smart move by snake Carney to call an election right away. He can take the high ground and say he was not democratically elected so the people should decide while riding the wave of his recent victory, the news cycle and anger over tariffs.

Has parliament resumed yet?
Seems like maybe he's front-running the other parties that might motion for a vote of non confidence.

Not yet. Supposed to be Monday but parliament will be dissolved until after the election. So parliament has done nothing since before Christmas break and will do nothing until May now. Haha. Not a bad gig if you can get it.
Oddly enough the country is still functioning without the leeches in session.

It's a damn farce. Unbelievable that the guy can be in office as the sole person with power to call an election and he hasn't ever been elected. It's a fucking joke.

Unfortunately, people are everywhere being influenced, manipulated, and tried to "keep them in line" according to a certain "standard". Part of this is electoral politicsalso... And this is present everywhere, not just in Canada...
