I think currently you cannot pay with some CC and some sats. Its either all sats or all CC, so if you didn't have enough CC you had to pay with sats.

You can use CCs for absolutely everything, see [FAQ](https://stacker.news/faq#what-are-cowboy-credits):

Can Cowboy Credits be used to Boost? I boosted a post yesterday but it took from my sats and not my CC.

I had less than 10k CC when I boosted so I was kind of testing to see if it would zero out my CC balance first and then use sats to make up the difference.

I guess that’s not the case but maybe CC cannot be used to boost at all?
