Typically and I have made this clear on numerous posts here on SN I hate the waste that goes into the World Cup, Olympic Games, World Conferences, etc. This though is one time that given the timeline the Olympic Games could be huge for LA. It was pretty amazing to read that for the most part all of the areas that are vital to the games were okay so now what they build can be built with actually having a future goal in mind.
Plus who doesn’t want to see K Dot come out and call Drake a Pedo on WORLD WIDE TV 🤣 take that Canada
It's going to be carmageddon during the Olympics here, but at least this has spurred them to finally construct some public transit to LAX
I heard that they were going to shut down some of the roads to create “high speed links” between the various events so will see what that means
it means all the regular schmucks who actually live and work in the city will have to sit through more traffic
