Fair enough but most people don’t want to live in a log cabin. It is hard to compare but clearly you can get a lot more for your money in rural areas. 

Adding lot cabin on 50-100 acres of land would still make it ~$0.10/sq. ft

You know I am not voting for the city but that is not really a fair comparison. You still need to build once you buy the rural land whereas the loft is move in ready.
