Yes, both outside and inside. Probably the most meaningful one is a spider plant that my grandfather planted in a sea shell in 1970. My mother had it on her windowsill until the late 1990s. She gave it to my wife and I and we have been caring for it since. It has survived vacations, cat attacks, falls from the ledge, and looks better than ever after 55 years. I'll post a photo when I return from my travels.
