It's automated but probably experienced a deadlock last night (nondeterministic but fairly normal without explicit mitigation when updating a lot of stuff) and we don't automatically retry so I had to do it manually.

Is the deadlock related to the beginning of a new month?

It shouldn't be, but it's possible. I haven't looked at it closely yet.
It might've been because we have some jobs that run on a monthly basis and they conflicted with the territory revenue job.
