I never thought I would be interested in watching a game system release but here we are! They are going way above and beyond! So many huge improvements especially with the audio system and to me.... THEY ARE RELEASING GAMECUBE GAMES WITH A GAMECUBE CONTROLLER!!!! Oh and the camera which in the video hinted at Wii Sports games coming back I am PUMPED! Plus we got Boarderlands 4 coming to it meaning..... the adult games are finally coming as well!

I just want to know if the joy-cons will use hall effect sensors or if they'll develop drift after 3 months like the current ones. I've lost track of how many times I've repaired/replaced these on my son's switch.
Debating why should I upgrade from the switch 1?
Bigger screen, 120 fps, double the pixals, microphone now on the switch for chatting, 8 times the memory that the OG switch has plus more!
A little on the expensive side, IMO.
I don't know if most Switch consumers are willing to shell out that kinda cash. Especially given Switch's reputation as the lower cost option
110% agree! I think Switch 2 is a clear pivot away from it though given all the stuff packed into it. They even have the 2K games coming over finally and just in general bloody violent games as well.
From what I have read when systems first launch they are often priced at a point that the margins are slim to none. Some companies will even sell at a slight loss but with the tariff essentially the price was raised by $50
It's definitely a bold move. Heard they're gonna charge $80 for Mario Kart too!
Dunno if this is smart for Nintendo. They have a reputation as the family friendly kid friendly option, which usually means lower cost.
They did highlight the Nintendo Parental Control iPhone app that allows you to disable various things
They also just had to up the tech big time as well given Hogwats legacy and how degraded the switch version is even after the developers took time to throttle it down for the system

ill 100% get this at some poitn, since i like Nintendo IP and play with the kids also, but i wont get it for like 4 years, by then there should actually be a decent size game library
