Yeah 👍 Good luck with inflation as the biggest right. I can buy 60 eggs in the same money in which you can buy 1. And this is how American dream goes flying.
Inflation is America's primary export so you can enjoy it too.
reply
We don't give a damn to any export from America, be it inflation or your boastful words about it. America is a struggling country and don't have any hopes left. You know you can delay the defeat but you can't escape it.
reply
The stories of America's demise a greatly exaggerated. We're still the least dirty shirt in the laundry.
reply
May seem exaggerated to you because Americans have never been more delusional ever before.
We're still the least dirty shirt in the laundry.
No, not anymore. It's either india or china or both.

Wasn’t going to chime in on this debate but China is not strong economically. Sure they manufacture a lot of stuff and use their economic capacity to buy influence and critical infrastructure from poor countries but their demographics are horrendous. They don’t produce any energy and import the majority of their food. They are a top down dictatorship so there is little innovation beyond copying what others create. If countries do start to become more protectionist, like the US is becoming, China will have a major reckoning. No one wants to invest in China because there is a good chance the communist gov won’t let you take your capital back out of the country.
I am much more bullish on future of India than China.
reply
Thanks. I agree and I definitely know the problems China has. I took its name just to provoke some more patriotism (Americans think China not India a competitor) in our occasionally thoughtful opponent team's captain.
I don't want to mingle politics in sports but as a captain of team international, I'll speak for all nations except 'Murica.
