Yesterday we visited my parent's and my daughter was doing art projects with colourful pipe cleaners with my mom.
She took a bunch of pipe cleaners home and tied them together to make a long chain. She made a loop on each end and looped them around the tops of a couple chairs. She was of course very proud of her creation and said "daddy, look what I made". I looked and said "now you have to limbo under that".
And so the limbo contest began. I put Chubby Checker's Limbo Rock on loop on spotify and called my son to join us. My wife wisely copped out and said "I think the dog needs to go for a walk, don't hurt yourself".
My daughter with the advantage of being little did quite well. I will give my son a D grade for his limbo but an A grade for effort. As for me, I have clearly been skipping too many leg days because after half an hour of limbo my quads are screaming and I am wondering how I am going to complete the 5k remaining steps I need today for our WorkIt challenge.
How low did I go? However, low falling on my ass around 30 times is.
Let's go Health and Fitness!

It must have been fun...the smartest decision (in my opinion) was made by your wife by going to walk the dog (otherwise, she would probably have taken a photo of the stunt, which she could use to "blackmail" you :P )

Haha so true.

Sounds like you also need to practice Yoga with @denlillaapan.
Maybe he can give us some virtual lessons.

Couldn't hurt. On the bright side at least nothing but my pride got hurt. Gotta get those 5k steps in.

Indeed. I still need to do about 3k. Better go find some chores to do.

It totally forgot about this challenge and thought I might not have gotten the required steps on the the 1st but turns out I just snuck passed the mark by about 100 steps.

I haven't been keeping it as top of mind as usual either. The puppy helps, though. She requires quite a few steps.

Our dog has to go out a lot so it definitely helps. Most days aren't a problem but we had freezing rain and snow and then a thunderstorm the next day so the first couple days were barely across the finish line.

Great. Always fun to do some physical activities together with kids.
