We had a nice sunny day and took advantage of it...by doing yardwork. Mowing, planting, and some light landscaping were a good workout and got me to almost 12k steps.
This was a great entry in Active April, which has generally been going pretty well.
Are all the other Stackers starting to get out into their yards?
Day haven't ended, but I'm already sitting at over 43k haha.
I usually mow the lawn when it comes to yard work, but it stayed cold till even today this Spring, so the lawn haven't grown enough to need mowing.
Good Lord!
That's what marathon training got me.
Both days this weekend, for about 5 hours in total. I’m achy lol
Yeah, it's a bunch of muscles that haven't gotten much work for a few months.
I just cleaned the mud out of the driveway drainage. We had the richest soil sludge with the fattest worms I've ever seen. Was a lot of work :)
That sure sounds like a job.
It is supposed to snow tomorrow and Tuesday so not quite yard season yet in these parts.
We narrowly escaped snow a couple of days ago.
For me April is the best month with the best temperatures And because it's the harvest season here, I have to go see the fields in my village on a regular basis. I grew a lot of tobacco and wheat this year.
Cool. Are you able to grow crops all year?
I was testing a new makkita hand saw on some felled branches and things to get a load of twig piles to be used for kindling, not hard work, but quite satisfying
I didn't do any trimming, but we picked up a ton of sticks and twigs.
