  • I ignored my libertarian friends and the Free Staters in 2012-2013 and didn't buy bitcoin
  • I got scared in 2018 and stopped adding to my meager stack
  • I was too obsessed with the covid insanity in March of 2020 to buy when bitcoin dropped to 3k
  • FINALLY, I accumulated a little during the China miner ban and FTX fallout

If you're new to bitcoin, and you did your homework, you need to ignore your internal FUD and exhibit the courage of your convictions.

This is your chance. Don't regret that you didn't act 20 years from now.

Don't buy Bitcoin because it gets a price dip... BUY BITCOIN BECAUSE FUCK BANKS !

reply

FTS!

reply

Wow so you’re Class of ‘21 like me?

reply

Well, not really. I got caught up in the 2017 bull hype and bought some. First half of 18 I bought a little more but got scared by the bear and just held on to what I had without buying more. Then I completely forgot about bitcoin until the summer of 2020, when I took the deep dive.

And then, you were in

... And then I might become a multi-coiner... 😶‍🌫️

To twist an old saying slight, the best time to buy bitcoin was thirteen years ago; the second best time is today.

My colleague just told me today that Bitcoin has dropped in value. Honestly, I’m so busy with the quotidian life that I haven’t noticed!

reply

Me too! Just checked it and 1 Bitcoin is still equal to 1 Bitcoin. We still good 😅

reply

Very accurate description. In these few lines, it is perfectly written how human psychology works. I have experienced pretty much the same things, faced the same things...but fortunately I no longer have any fear or/and FUD about Bitcoin... Remember...be humble and stack sats!

My vision is and will be to buy regardless of the price; the volatility of the world's greatest asset is only for those of us who know its worth.

As soon as I knew about btc I accumulated some

I’ve upped my DCA amount and have been hitting some limit orders on River. Let go stackers!

reply

Thanks for the heads up. Luckily I'm immune to price drops, I just want to protect my money and make it mine and proof against government corruption.

I missed out on many cycles too but I'm in now long term. Going to hodl my bitcoin for my kids. Hope I'm not late

Total element with you, we are still on time and it is still early. You have to take advantage of each discount and every opportunity to stack more Sats. facing the next 20 or 30 years. That is the only optimal way not to look within the impoverishing system.

reply

You need to be aware of who is selling the fear.

My first bitcoin was purchased in 2012 using bit instant and Mt Gox

I was buying something on Silk Road (Ross Ulbricht)

Wow! You should really tell your story unless you want to preserve your privacy.

reply

I should. It’s a great story. I have to write an outline first because I can’t remember all the details off the top of my head

I'm a big believer in DCA. Sometimes, though, if you have a little dry powder and a big pair of balls, you can do a nice smash buy too😀

reply

Today is a good day to do a little smash buy on top of the DCA
