Cancelled my Costco membership just way cheaper to use Instacart. Not sure what that says about the state of groceries or me. 🤔 If they had home delivery would use just them but they don’t. No bueno, on the other hand get access to every other grocery store including them.

Hey @koob I’d imagine this isn’t the first time and maybe it’s not possible but when or can you bring PM function to SN? I think it’s one of the key things missing here it’s my preferred social platform well ahead of Nostr and all std issue platforms but not being able to pm is annoying..
We definitely want to have E2EE DMs—so yes, PMs that are indeed actually private so literally nobody can read them except sender and receiver—but it's really hard. Here is the ticket for that.
The ticket mentions NIP-44, but I think we can do better than building more stuff on top of nostr, a dead-end protocol if you ask me.
We've been fantasizing about implement the Signal protocol as good as we can in JS since it's the industry standard for E2EE afaik.
Since we have tons of other stuff to do (wallets & territories), DMs have been on the backlog for a while. Sorry for that, I wish we had DMs a year ago already.

We want to self-host Plausible to make it more privacy-friendly and then show the stats it collects on SN which includes views per page. So I think the answer is yes.
