The issue with it is the data is all stored on servers in China and China passed legislation that the CCP can force any company for any reason to turn over whatever data they want. There isn't any recourse or prevention unlike most other countries.

Those are the web service T&C's. You do not need to use the web/API. Deepseek is an open model you can download and run it locally, data is stored on your computer.

Yeah you seem to think that technology doesn’t need update and that programs are frequently written that transmit data when they are not supposed to. You put DeepSeek on your computer or phone and unless you never ever connect it to WiFi or cellular service again you are vulnerable.
