Not sure where to shove this lil piece because... it's basically a Twitter summary of "what did I miss in influencer land?!"
I have no great love for FT, certainly recently (#907759)... but what tha fuck is this?
They just recount what all the podcasters and inflooenzors are saying about stock market crashes, Trump, and tariffs (i.e., all the SEO keywords... hmm.. that's a clue)

“What the fuck is going on in our country? Guys, why am I poor?” [Adin Ross] asked his legions of fans. “Can someone please explain what’s going on? Why are we all losing? Why are we all negative right now?”

Trump courted these influencers assiduously in the run-up to November’s election, spending about 1,000 minutes chatting with online personalities such as Ross.
Implication: y'alls got rugpulled. Oops.
Portnoy’s reaction has been replicated across the “bro-sphere”, the online world where young men gather to socialise, discuss sports and energy supplements and consume content produced by a growing army of brash, pumped-up livestreamers, podcasters and pranksters.
Others mocked investors for complaining about their paper losses and pensioners who lamented the hit to their 401K retirement accounts. “Losing money means nothing. Digital ones and zeroes,” said Benny Johnson, a conservative YouTuber. “Losing your country costs you everything. You will never get that back.”
Even before the market slump, Rogan was expressing misgivings about some of Trump’s policies. Last month he criticised the White House over its decision to send a Venezuelan make-up artist and hairdresser to a prison in El Salvador.

Conclusion:

“I have faith,” Portnoy said last week. “I’m not panicking. I don’t think [Trump’s] a crazy person.”
It's crazy that hard-hitting journalism now means recounting what famous peeps said. Basically a gossip column.
Nice imagery (red like the devil)... but I suppose AI made that anyway.

This reminds me of trying to have conversations with other econ PhD students, only to find that all they knew about anything is what they heard from John Oliver.
Dudes, you're supposed to be upstream from that shit, not downstream of it.

This is one hell of a comment/insight <3

If you are getting your news or being influenced by youtubers, you need to rethink your priorities.

Tru-ly.
...then again, where's a dude supposed to learn about things? Between hyped-up bro influencers and propaganda intelligentsia outlets, I know where I'm looking

The Mar a Lago Accords strategy didn't work... or at least didn't work as of yet.
If it works, great. If it doesn't... then it could backfire which is apparently what's happening so far.
Someone should explain that to the influencers.
