The title is mine. The actual headline of the article is Why I would not hire Mark Carney.
Good opinion piece in the Financial Post from an employment lawyer detailing the many failures and misrepresentations of Mark Carney's career that would make him unqualified, even unfit to hold a CEO job of a private enterprise.

I do think the election will be closer than the polls and media are presenting, but I no longer have any faith in my fellow Canadians to not be brainwashed sheeple. I hope I am wrong but I think they will dismiss all of Carney's failings and lies and vote for him anyways.

Considering that he is not working for the British or Canadian people, but the bankers, he is doing a wonderful job for his employers!! It is just that we are not his employers and we have never voted for him. So, you cannot really say he is not doing his job well.

He is very good at self-promotion, at collecting trophy jobs and of course negotiating fabulously generous salaries and expenses for himself. He is just not very good at delivering

This is what an election campaign is about... the candidates (and their staff) have half a year during the campaign to convince people that all the rubbish they represent is good...and if people "eat it", they can relax and enjoy the "fruits of their labor" until the next campaign (3.5-4 years).
