44% of Quebecers are voting out of fear. It seems they are concerned about losing bilingualism if Canada became the 51st state. It's remarkable to me that the Liberal propaganda machine and the media fear merchants have convinced so many Canadians the 51st state thing is actually a viable threat.
Alaska has dozens of official languages, so I imagine Canada can negotiate keeping their two.
Quebecers don't speak proper French anyways.
