I wish this trend were real.

Alas, that's just Trump derangement. Those people will support trade restrictions, and for the same reasons, as soon as their guy is in office.

Maybe people use this precedent and learn about the virtues of free trade

reply

Trump should embrace free trade then support for tariffs will rise

reply

That's what he'd do if he were really playing 4-D chess.

reply

That would be nice, but I'm not getting my hopes up. I've been through too many of these cycles for that.

The masses will always be the masses. Reading a book like human action is for a few nerds.

reply

Sadly, yes

reply

The war is between those good nerds vs the bad nerds (like the davos crowd). The masses will always follows what is there to be followed.

Just shows how malleable shitlibs are, one mockingbird narrative and all of a sudden it looks like a shitcoin graph

No one alive has ever experienced free trade

reply

You probably mean lefties. Liberals have always been pro free trade and capitalism.

reply

Shitlibs are the "liberals" in the graph you posted, Classical Liberals are a statistical non-factor... even if they weren't, then to your point, the line would be flat because at least they're consistent.

All the graph shows us is that shitlibs have no principles and are therefore inconsistent.
