yes ofc, every day must do something to earn sats from me.
I meant as opposed to doing something like chores (proof of work), do they have to do something to prove that they are worthy to inherit your stack once you are no longer living?
there's no inherit. just earn.
So, they're only able to earn while you're alive and once you're dead there's no more to earn?
