There have been regular four-hour power outages, excused by the rain. So far, the longest power outage has been 15 hours. Consequences: The brekera (a kind of brekera) burned down, along with some cables. Thankfully, we noticed it in time and were able to fix it, so nothing serious happened.

Fascinating. I don't want to ask you anything that would compromise your privacy, but is this a short visit? Vacation? Or are you moving back?

It's my priority. It's been wonderful these past few days, being able to hug them, talk while looking into each other's eyes, laugh together, eat at the same table. It's truly been comforting.

There is a high percentage of people who cannot feed themselves properly due to a lack of financial resources. The official minimum wage is $2 to $3, which is what public institutions pay, although in the "private" sector the minimum wage is higher, approximately $80 to $150 per month.
