It was truly a tortoise and the hare situation. I started out hot but when I saw people were going to spam and send one character comments I knew I didn't have the stamina to survive.

I understand. I too left it but I thought of curating all of my fav poetic quotes at one place to read whenever I want and I started enjoying it. It's tedious but it's worth it for me.
I can now just search "Being Poetic" and read some really good poetry whenever I want.
