Would Twitter embeds in comments be a possibility?

Is increasingly dark shading for comment nesting something new? Or did I just not notice it before?

took a reply that was
I like AMAs :)

What do you like about them in particular?

  • There are people that spent quite some time on the topic. I have my biased opinions and I'm interested to see if those people will bring up some new solid point or interesting spin to it.
  • It also puts the person on spot a bit, sometimes having to handle awkward questions, which is fun to read.
  • I would like to see SN succeed and getting solid content and building community behind a bit deeper conversations is a great first step :)

I locked myself out of Pleb Lab.

I'm reminded of Neeraj's Tweet:
My friend’s entire company is locked out of their WeWork office because an umbrella fell, jamming the door.
No one can figure it out. It’s been like this for 2 days.

I'd love it if non-link posts were encouraged somehow - it would make this place feel less like r/bitcoin and more like a community :)

I’m not sure how we’d do that. One idea @kr had was that fees for replies would go to the OP. That might encourage more discussion.
reply
I Like that idea. Though that would disincentise replying? Maybe some split between OP and the comment author?
reply
My bad, by OP I meant the parent of the reply. For instance, the sat for this comment would go to you.

Gotcha!

r/cc is honestly worse imo, the content quality fell off a cliff after they made their own shitcoin
