How it felt this week:
Had to work back to back 12 hour days on Tuesday and Wednesday, so my legs felt extra tired during Wednesday evening's run. Attempted the mile challenge #930670 Friday night, and failed to finish in under 7 minutes. I think I could do better with fresh legs though, because my legs felt heavy and sluggish during that mile (probably due to working overtime almost everyday this week). I'll give the mile challenge another shot with fresh legs this coming week and try to break 7 minutes. Felt pretty good during Sunday's run. The weather was nice and it felt great to run under the sun. It's all short and easy runs now before race day next Sunday. Will try to give a final update Saturday night to recap the final week of light training before race day.
