What Is This?

This is a recurring post inspired by discussions had by @Undisciplined, @elvismercury and others regarding evergreen content on SN. I’ll dig back into the past to try to locate some great posts that might be worth another read. I plan to release a new Golden Oldies every Tuesday.
Here are this week’s selections:
Yes, this is a selfish selection. I would love to know how to do half the stuff @NicoHeatingBTC learned. At the same time I do think it’s inspirational and aspirational for all of us. Even if you never actually do your own project, you can pretend you will by reading this post.
@final is the community moderator for the Graphene OS project. He is also the primary source of graphene OS knowledge and information on Stacker News. We’re lucky to have him here. This post is a treasure. It may not be old, but it’s as gold as it gets.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.

I really appreciate your posts. Since I'm new, it's hard to explore everything and filter out the quality stuff.

Thanks. I like reading the stuff I missed too, and rereading the good ones anyway.

Do you bookmark this content or do you remember it off the top of your head and go back to it?
reply
Neither. I like to go back and read top posts anyway. I make note of the ones I like. Then I pick two out each week.

I really hope we see a bunch of bitcoin heating companies start popping up. In my mind, that's the meat-space bitcoin business with the most immediate potential.

@siggy47 I think the best way to know how to do half the things @NicoHeatingBTC does, is to make him your mentor/role model. Follow him wether secretly or openly and you'll learn how to be like him, but don't fail to acknowledge his efforts cos you're learning from him. He's invariably gonna be your teacher and teachers ought to be respected.
