Even if it would be the case that he trolls sometimes - which I doubt is the intent fwiw - there's immense value in having someone question your ideas and solutions. A contrary view that is alien to whatever echo chamber one finds themselves in is an opportunity to improve. We test code adversely so we should test ideas and concepts too; especially when things are being addressed that arguably had unforeseen consequences in previous instances of the same kind of change: like dropping script size limits.
