I'm confident that spam will be priced out by economic transactions in the long run. But I still appreciate having purists around to stir up debate, because I'm not a fan of all the garbage on my node.

Which is why the Luke is a troll attitude that I've seen stated somewhere recently bothers me, quite a bit. Even if it would be the case that he trolls sometimes - which I doubt is the intent fwiw - there's immense value in having someone question your ideas and solutions. A contrary view that is alien to whatever echo chamber one finds themselves in is an opportunity to improve. We test code adversely so we should test ideas and concepts too; especially when things are being addressed that arguably had unforeseen consequences in previous instances of the same kind of change: like dropping script size limits.
