I was suggesting to @gnilma earlier that the Rockets should trade for him. They need an elite scorer and Bucks need to to retool. Maybe it will be Lillard they trade and keep Giannis.

Giannis will probably ask for a trade. He doesn't want to be stuck in a rebuilding team, be "the vet", and keep losing. He made it clear before, he wants to win now.

And they really don’t have any trade assets to build around him.

I was going to pitch that OKC should trade for Giannis, if they don't win the title.
Miami might be a destination to watch. Word is Pat Riley isn't happy that they just set the playoff single series futility record for worst total point differential.

OKC has so many picks, they could potentially trade for almost anyone they want. Making the salary work is probably the biggest problem for a trade like that. I think some of their rookie contracts are coming up for renew soon and would be hard for OKC to keep the core, let alone make cap space for Giannis.

I think you do whatever it takes (short of trading SGA), if you can actually land Giannis.
My thinking is that they have more guys and picks than they can actually use. Instead of paying one of those unproven young guys as much as Giannis, just pay Giannis that money.

That was quite a performance by the Heat last night. Almost makes me believe in my Cavs again.
