I hear you regarding the super bowls but Shanahan didn’t drop the INT in the end zone in 2020 and didn’t let Chris Jones run free on the most crucial third down of the game. At some point the coach can only do so much. Players need to execute. Again, he deserves criticisms in both those games but players do as well.
Lol, not trying to be a contrarian and I have a busy work day today, but I'll throw this out there too...when you put together a team, it's more than how fast they can run a 50, or how many pounds they can lift. You evaluate the players holistically, and that includes intangibles like discipline, focus, etc. As a leader, you also have to model the right behaviors, have a high EQ, know how to engage players where they're at, and bring them to where they need to be.
Given the pattern that Shanahan has carried with him...there's something he's doing wrong. Just a hypothesis, but it seems like he's probably too dialed in on getting the right personnel that can run the schemes he wants and isn't paying close enough to intangibles I mentioned earlier.

The 49ers have the most unique draft board of any team and are not focused on height, weight, arm length, speed and other underwear olympics measurables. So I don't really get your comment of "it's more than how fast and strong they are". The 49ers have proven probably more than any other team to get the best out of guys who were not obvious picks.
The idea that you think Sirianni, who doesn't even build the roster, is somehow magically reading these players minds and extracting some extreme level of discipline, focus, and execution out of them is quite the stretch. I am not saying he is a bad coach. I am just saying you are giving the guy way too much credit. Not every coach that wins a Super Bowl is automatically great.
My question to you and please answer honestly. If you polled all 32 teams and gave them the blank slate option of Shanahan or Sirianni to coach their team. How many do you think would choose Sirianni?

Hard for me to answer what I think other teams would do because I'd personally take Sirianni.

I think Josh Allen and Joe Burrow are more skilled and steady than Stafford, but I think Stafford is a better clutch QB than them both.

If he is so clutch why did they lose one score games in the last two playoff runs?
Anyways, I do think Stafford is a very good veteran QB and I do think he performs well down the stretch in games but I am trying highlight that just because Stafford won a Super Bowl doesn't make him better than two QBs that didn't, one of which never got there.
It is difficult for me to determine how good Sirianni is because he doesn't call plays, he didn't hire his coordinators (I am sure he had some say but Howie hired them), and he didn't construct the roster (again I am sure he had some say but it is Howie's roster). Other than having won a Super Bowl, after having lost one and then having a complete second half collapse and losing embarrassingly in the first round the subsequent year, I can't determine what he is better than Shanahan at. Maybe he is a great motivator. Maybe he is a steady hand in times of distress. But I can't quantify these things without being in the room and neither can you so other than just solely basing it on the fact he won a super bowl and Shanahan hasn't, I don't think either of us can point to one thing he is better at than Shanahan. And if we are going to solely base it on winning the Super Bowl then Stafford must be better than Josh Allen and Trent Dilfer must be better than Dan Marino. See how silly that sounds?
