I don't believe in regretting for past actions but now I regret not pursuing my passion for singing. It's turned into a regret for I'm not praised anymore for my singing inside my home. The reason is associated to my marriage with a trained musician. Now everybody just knows how bad (technically) a singer I'm, haha.
On a serious note I don’t regret the things I didn’t do, I regret not finishing the things I started.
I started the thing because I liked doing them, because they interested me, and because I grew passionate about them.
But I dropped them because I was too lazy, too comfortable and too work-aversive…....
Now I think the same is true about my passion for singing.
Buying a ledger without having a P.O. Box. At least it taught me that all customer data really is toxic.

I regret smoking cigarettes. I'm happy I quit.
I also regret the times in which I've treated people poorly, especially when they didn't deserve it.

Came here to say this, on both counts.
Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever had to do.
reply
You did the right thing. I've never been a smoker though I was close to becoming one but my job as teacher didn't really allow me. I still smoke but only a few times a year and mostly in winters and when I'm travelling alone.

I regret not looking after myself better sooner. Remember folks; maintain a healthy weight, take care of your skin and teeth.

I regret not traveling sooner.
I didn’t start until I was 26 and I missed out on some of the best years of my life doing absolutely amazing things.
I still lived a great life in my early 20s but they would have been better if I let go of some dumb bullshit sooner.
reply
This was literally my exact "regret". I know people that don't start traveling until they are retired though, so 26 is still pretty good! I definitely wish I left the nest sooner and started traveling. Nevertheless, I am on that travel kick now!

I never really traveled anywhere out of the country until I was 25/26. I'm currently 31, and ever since then I have traveled all over the world.
It has been something I love doing, and wish I would have started sooner. I'm still traveling, but eventually we are going to have kids and the Swiss/Croatian trips may slow down. All in all, that is one thing I would have ramped up more with hindsight. I think things have turned out pretty well though :)

Many times, different situations in life lead us to not fulfill our projects, the important thing is to know that it is never too late to be able to fulfill them.
