I woke up this morning to this announcement and felt mixed feelings.

Nintendo delayed Breath of the Wild for years before actually releasing it, and it amazingly delivered.

CD Projekt Red delayed Cyberpunk 2077 in the same year a number of times actually proving that they were trying to rush the game so bad, and it was a disaster.

What do we know about Rockstar is that after the GTA 4 fiasco they started to correctly weaponize delays: GTA 5 got delayed several times before releasing it and it was a really good game since day 1. I expect GTA 6 to be the same!
