Sounds like Discord was not enforcing their terms of service until they did.
Discord accuses us for collecting bot tokens which they say is against their terms of service.
It is a well known practice for bot provider platforms to ask for bot tokens. Companies such as Bot Ghost, MEE6, and even Dyno all enable users to submit their bot tokens. In fact, Bot Ghost literally depends on it to function. Yet somehow, no action has been taken against them?
Furthermore, the Discord team has always known about our practice to ask users to submit their bot tokens to host their Shapes for them. We have discussed this practice at length with their leadership team over the years. In fact, we repeatedly raised concerns on this matter and requested elevated service limits so we could self provision these bot tokens. They officially advised us to pursue requesting bot tokens from users.
