So when I searched in SN Nostr for dummies the post that came up was #115261 which is from 2022. I was curious since this post was 3 years old if it is out of date or if it is still a good guide? I’ve never done anything with Nostr and when I’ve looked at it… I got confused real quick with all the options. Thank y’all in advance!

I would drop this in the ~nostr territory that post looks out of date.

As a fairly recent Nostrich, or whatever, I just had a quick scan through of your post from 2022. I can't comment on all of the individual links, some of those look interesting and I will check them out.
What jumped out at me was the mention of Clubhouse, I am not sure if that is still a thing in some parts of the world e.g. the US but where I live it is simply not a thing, it barely was during Corona times, it's definitely not a thing now. With that said, I came from a very technologically backwards part of the world, it's a 'first world' country but the people are simple, humble folk. Well, definitely simple, with modest technical needs.
The other thing I noticed is that there is no mention in your guide of Primal, unless I missed it? I use Damus more currently, although that may change, but I get the impression that Primal is the most popular Nostr client in 2025, and the if it is not mentioned in your guide it would suggest that your guide needs an update.
Nostr and Stack News are now my favorite places to visit, swiftly replacing X and Reddit in the first instance. Now if only I could get either Damus or Primal to connect to my Alby set up, I'd be so happy.
