Fair comment, you do have a point- Russia under Putin is very active projecting its will via Wagner...and directly as in Ukraine. Although most of the nations Russia is meddling with are relatively small in economic terms- as is Russia itself. Now Russia is however Chinas mercenary, fighting the USA by proxy...N.Korea and Iran are helping too. The Axis against US hegemony is growing. Though didn't Putin have a falling out with Wagner or is that now sorted?

"Putin's Chief" as he was known well... his plane randomly "fell out of the sky" but there was no need to investigate it his plane crashed due to pilot error

Ah yes that sounds like something off the classic Putin menu. They were once best of buddies. So who runs Wagners operation now? Sounds like maybe its been nationalised?
