The most surprising talk that I'm grateful I attended (especially when the room was near empty) was from @dusty about a kind of 2nd layer mempool, "delayed transaction protocol" which is basically payjoin on steroids. There aren't many materials about it online yet to share but it's very exciting.
Mempools and mining (pools) are my favorite.
