@javier Will using neutrino instead of a full node be possible or there could be some problems with let say 50 channels like in your example? I ask because if you wanted to run your node on a rented VPS having a full node could become very costly. That of ocurse if you have a bad connection in your house for example.
Neutrino had some serious bugs in the past that leaded to force closes when the feeurl was offline, but they solved the problems recently. So I don't think you will have a problem using neutrino.
About having the node in a VPS, I am not in favor of that. People in the datacenter can have access to it, and having bitcoin in it is very tempting. But I would use the VPS as a VPN host for your node in your home, and redirect the appropriate ports. Another solution is using autossh to that VPS.

Yes, there is some trust involved but for people that might have a shitty home connection, may be mobile spotty connection a VPS might be the only choice, may be with a "trusted provider" and using LND in stateless mode?

Thank you, I was not aware of that program, used Wireguard in the past to do like that, port forward and such even if never for a lightning node. This seems surely easy ;-)
