I'm reminded of the speech that got Jeff Deist "in trouble", where he was just acknowledging that people care about things like "blood and soil".
Got him into trouble? Missed that. Sounds rational to me.
Some people really need to get out of their bubbles. Meet some people not from Europe or in Ivy League schools.

Ah. I think the US is in denial about how fascism influenced US WW2 politics. The two borrowed heavily from each other.

I still get annoyed when I hear people getting all spun up about nationalism. As if pretty much everyone wasn't a nationalist prior to WW2. It's just stupid. Many are still but are just in denial about it.
You have globalists and nationalists. Those are the primary positions today. Some of us are more individualists but we are a small minority
