We are counting down the best ballparks in MLB throughout the 2025 season.
Here is last week's edition #969975
Next on our list is #21.
Rogers Centre- Toronto Blue Jays Opened: 1989 Capacity: 41,500
I have been going to Rogers Centre since its opening weekend in 1989 (then known as Skydome), so I have a lot of experience with this park. It was quite a marvel when it first opened. Futuristic, retractable roof, multi sport and entertainment complex. But MLB parks quickly went in a different direction favouring a more classic style with modern amenities. The dome was still a fun place to watch a game even though it seemed to become outdated faster than most stadiums. I think they did a really good job renovating it a couple years ago but it is still too large, and too concrete. Games with the roof open are quite nice but when the Dome is closed it can be dark and dreary in there. Nevertheless, I have so many fond memories of Rogers Centre/Skydome that I will always love it even if it is only the 21st best park in MLB.
On to #20 next week.
Sats for all, GR
I went to a game here not to long ago. The Arizona park is way better than this one

That was before the renovation. I think it was the third worst park in MLB other than Tropicana field and Oakland Coliseum before the renovations. It’s much better now.
