With coinos currently out I have detached the wallet for this account. If I try to pay this bounty later today it will prompt an invoice. If I pay that invoice with an external wallet will the recipient get cc's or sats?

Paying the QR code is like zapping with a wallet. You send sats, they will receive sats if they have a wallet and it works.
