pull down to refresh

I've been working for myself remotely for like a decade, and, being self-employed and often working on a client/project basis, it's often been hard in terms of stability, but quite good in terms of freedom.
Unfortunately, the types of skills and services I provide are also in direct competition with service providers in places where they will happily work for 2 dollars an hour, so I'm kind of in competition with the whole world.
That being said, what remote jobs do you think I could look at where the company would specifically not want to offshore ?
if i were in the UK, i'd probably just reskill as an electrician or plumber or something, since I'm not , I thought i'd pool the hive mind of SN (where I am at the moment, manual trades like plumber etc get paid peantus so juice not worth the squeeze)

I'd say keep doing your thing for now. Countries seem to be closing off rather than opening up.
I also think that stacking sats whole you can may buy you the time you need to retrain in the future.

7always stacking of course, not even against retaining, as long as there is some viable field that i could apply a new trade.

Agreed. Buying bitcoin is something like buying time.

i got paid a few times for cleaning out or rearranging people's garage, basement, or attic; as long as u protect ur breathing and absorbing surfaces, it can be a fun job; unfortunately, there will be a lot of dead boomers soon, as well as bankrupt peeps; with that will come many home foreclosures or family takeovers who do not want any of the old scrap; it is going to be easy to hire a few extra hands and drive around! i doubt any regulation will affect that job sector... what are they gonna do, ask for a certificate of proper disposal competency?
