That’s because we married 鬼ババ onibaba. @Aardvark is tickled pink

Maybe our wives could join an oni baba social group together 😁

reply

And we can form a support group 😭

reply

I could just see the support group practicing their “bite the tongue” silence! Not a sound except for swirling brains swirling.

reply

Misery loves company

reply

Always, to commiserate together is a top art form!

I was telling my wife about this discussion, and she got interested enough to look up images of onibaba and show them to me. They were all a sort of feminine version of an oni but all were carrying a debuhocho. Terrifying images! :)

A real good reason to bite the ol’ tongue at times!

reply

Haha I made it to your living room discussions! I feel honoured

reply

We had to laugh about it for a while.

reply

Why would you encourage a group like that?!? Wow, I could just see the results of a group supporting onibaba behaviors!! Literal lit up fire in the house, never any peace.

reply

Oh dear God, you're right. Do not support the oni baba.

reply

Yep, support kind, loving and peaceful behaviors, only. Everything else is only your pain in the tokus.

If my wife heard or saw me calling her onibaba, I don’t know if my head would remain on my shoulders or not!!! This baba just doesn’t go. When I was watching Dragon Ball in Japan and uranai baba came up I didn’t quite understand it and asked her. Then I called her baba….. I have never done it again since then, don’t think I ever will.

reply

I only call my wife that in front of her friends because she can’t kill me in polite company, even if she wants to. Haha

Cute story!
