T Rex was respected but not considered among the top bands.
Maybe just a touch weird for mainstream appeal.
Most millennial and zoomers know the big names of that time but not T.Rex. I, for one, take a lot of joy out of 'discovering' eclectic stuff from previous generations. I probably listened to a bit too much Syd Barret/early Floyd while I was in high school for my own good. Meantime, all my peers were into trap/r&b.

Syd! My roommates and I were torn in picking a name for our cat: Syd or Lucifer Sam. Have you explored King Crimson?

Lucifer Sam is long, and maybe a bit edgy for a cat's name. Could be shortened to Lou or Sam, I suppose. Great tune though.

Probably not enough. I know I've listened to the Court of the Crimson King. It's good stuff.

Nope but I queued some up on Spotify. Looks like they have some longer jam-tracks, which is perfect for Saturday cleaning sessions 🧑‍🚀

Cool! They have a familiar sound for sure. It's nice to hear some wind instruments blended with rock sounds. Have you listened to CAN?
