Since the data loss last week, which now is now fixed as far as I can see Braiins pool has stopped allowing my mining payments to go to my Coinos LN wallet. Have contacted Braiins but no reply yet- after more than 24 hours.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I have had to change payments to another LN wallet but that wallet charges fees that are significant given the small amount I get from mining to start with. Coinos has been a great wallet for this as the fees are virtually zero for small payments - the new LN wallet charged about ~50 sats for receiving a ~450 sats payment- which is imo exorbitant.
Be mindful that braiins is also a business run by humans and they probably aren’t fully staffed over the weekend. I wouldn’t be too harsh on them for not responding to a support ticket within 24 hours over the weekend
reply
Yes they did get back to me yesterday but the problem is still not fixed. I can get manual payouts to coinos but cannot reset the automatic payment instructions and so far Braiins support have not found a solution. No great hurry to fix it but mysterious as to why the payments that were working well stopped since the data loss event last week have stopped working. I can understand if they cancelled payments to coinos while coinos payments were frozen, but now they are not frozen and Braiins have said there is no block on Coinos payments.

What is the new wallet?
reply
It's one provided by a New Zealand LN Bitcoin exchange platform - lightningpay.nz
Thought Id try it since they are based here in New Zealand - but the fees are very high compared to Coinos.

Lightning has become a marketing term.
It has high fees because it uses Liquid via Breez SDK:
reply
Yes- I don't understand all the different technological routes but know when fees are too high. Hopefully Braiins will allow me to reconnect to Coinos wallet. If not maybe there is some other wallet that is not as expensive to use as the lightningpay.nz one- they have had good reviews as a NZ owned and operated LN enabled BTC only exchange and for building a circular BTC payments economy, especially in their region of NZ (Queenstown) but their wallet is way too expensive to operate.

You can set a threshold to withdraw.
reply
Yes I can still adjust the threshold. Just cannot change the payment destination address back to my coinos wallet address.
