probably becuase it's unfair that people with money can engineer super babies. of course, hot rich people fucking each other kind of is gene selecting in a way, but less ethically questionable.

It is. But i don't think it's more unfair than nature itself giving different people better or worse esthetics. In fact i feel like it levels the field if only a little bit.
