The shift to remote-first operations has changed workplace culture. People are hungry for connection and in-person collaboration. Even for companies that provide office spaces, the atmosphere often feels more like a WeWork than a true community.
Presidio Bitcoin aims to provide more than just desks and snacks; it’s a welcoming space for exchanging ideas. When Steve and I were working out of the Block office in San Francisco, we rarely heard from other bitcoiners in the area, which led us to believe that few bitcoiners were actually visiting or living nearby. However, since we opened Presidio Bitcoin, we have encountered many new local bitcoiners and visitors who have stopped by — individuals we would have never met otherwise.
There are many important bitcoin hubs around the world. These spaces are essential for fostering community, education, local influence, and job creation. While I could elaborate on the value of these physical locations, I need to get back to connecting with others.
I predict we'll see more interest and value driven coworking in the future. Tech is too broad of a category now. Other than makerspaces I'm unaware of other, focused coworking spaces, but surely they exist.

This is interesting. Honestly, I had to look twice at the title, when I thought it read "Bringing Bitcoin to the eBay".
