🦉Buho – A Lightning Wallet for my Friends
Over the past month, I’ve created a wallet called Buho for my friends.
The goal was simple: create something I could use to help them get familiar with Lightning payments.

⚠️ Custody Disclaimer
Since Buho was originally created for (and is still intended for) close friends, it is not self-custodial for now.
All funds are held on my personal Lightning node, which runs reliably and securely.

🧪 Buho is currently in demo/development mode.
A few more months of development are needed before a stable release and top UX. But all basic functions implemented so far work. -
🧩 Some issues with Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC) may occur.
Relay management is still in progress — I’m actively working on it. -
🔒 This is a private project for now.
Since Buho was built specifically for my friends, the code is currently not open-source.
If they enjoy it and the project gains more traction, I plan to make it available to the public — and open-source parts of the codebase as well.
