I know this isn’t the most typical project, but working on it has been a lot of fun so far. I’m at the stage where I’d really appreciate some help and feedback.
The idea: orange-colored ketchup (made from yellow/orange tomatoes). The bigger vision is to build a brand that’s fully decentralised, transparent, and collaborative. One of the most exciting parts is that by using a familiar, everyday food that everyone loves, we can bring Bitcoin awareness directly into people’s homes and encourage bitcoin payments throughout the entire supply chain (suppliers to resellers).
This was my very first post here on Sacker News when the idea was just a little seed - it’s been quite a journey.
A few friends and I have already started with a prototype, a recipe, a first logo, and some design work, but there’s still a ton to do. We’re on GitHub ---- X, Nostr, and Geyser.fund now! (Website coming in the next few days.)
Is anyone interested in following along? Right now, support on Geyser.fund would make a big difference for us.
If anyone’s in Las Vegas this week, let me know - I might have a sample for you! 🙂
Thanks so much!
Serious question, what's the shelf life of that?

Open souce 🤣
Congrats on the pre-launch of the product! I remember seeing a similar product made in the US, maybe was not ketchup but orange hot chilli souce… anyhow!
Does those yellow orange tomatoes grow in Austria? Are you growing them yourself or sourced from local producers or somewhere else?

Thank you very much, really appreciate it! We are currently sourcing them from a farm in south Italy - small batch, organic, they truly care about what they do. The company information is in our Github. The goal is to have our own farm at some point.
