Yes, you pay either way. You pay either with money or time, you get to take your choice. I must say, though, the scenery is beautiful on some of the train routes.

They been struggling for years where they rely on government funding to stay in operation the problem with traveling by rail here in America is the cost. It’s a bit cheaper than a flight but the travel time is so much longer .
