I think tbe zap cancellation timer has been increased and it's better to wait. But it also happens with me sometimes that I end up zapping twice, though it happened only when I had refreshed the page and saw that the zap for some reason didn't go through. I zapped again and after sometime I could see that my first zap also went through.

I’m sorry, there’s a bug where if you refresh the page while a zap is pending, it will look unzapped but we’re still retrying in the background (ticket). So if you zap again, you might end up zapping twice.
This won’t happen if you only retry failed zaps from your notifications.
