This graph appears to show a decrease in the avoiders and an increase of allergy in the consumers. 17.2% -> 15.4% versus 3.2% -> 4.4%

The avoiders are consistently multiple times higher. The difference just decreases over time.

in all seriousness, my young child experienced facial rash with first introduction of peanut butter so over the course of 6 months we micro dosed peanut oil from butter first and then eventually full dose peanut butter.
to this day they are allergy free
