These are always fun. And a nice reminder that bitcoin incentivizes efficient use of blockspace which is favorable for monetary use cases.

Dont show this to Matthew Kratter of bitcoin university. This op_return bitcoin spam has completely borked his mind. If you watch his videos he thinks people paying fees to put JPEGs on the chain will kill Bitcoin.
I’m sorry if that is an the slightest way true then Bitcoin was doomed from the start.

I see a 646 New York area code in the transfer amount: 92(646.576-7072)6 Try calling it; it's a very strange expert locator service.
Google "HBITS escalator". I'm not sure if that's what the automated attendant says, but HBITS is an IT contracting system for NYC. It says if you're interested in working for the city you can contact their contractors directly. They pay $45-$100/hr. Thanks Bitcoin!

Where is all the spam talk(to be fair, I have largely ignored it)? Bitcoiners are special people. You can have losing their minds about nothing in the mempools and the mempools being filled with spam in the same month.

Most of the spam talk (which I don't want to discount because I think some of it is in good faith) is from a particular camp of bitcoiners that mostly reside on X afaict. So if you aren't following them, or the people arguing with them, you'll miss it.

Yeah, that's fair. I just can't abide the sky is falling over-reactions which seem to be more and more common. I guess people think they need to be like to get attention.

Imagine moving that amount in gold or even in fiat — how many hands it would need to pass through and how much would be spent to make it happen. Anyone who says on-chain costs are high has clearly never done the math — including those who use Liquid.
