4k logical qubits can be enough for breaking RSA/ECDSA
And, the Google recent discovery is not about 105 qubits, but about error correction is improving with increasing number of qubits, exactly opposite to all previous approaches. And that's the only crucial thing here.
In other words, you won't simply need milions of physical qubits anymore - to reach 4k logical level.
Big discussion here (and most natural fix):

And yes, a free market between active and passive Bitcoin users is moral choice, and that's why it's more important than "stupid 21M meme" (copyright by Peter Todd ;)
"It makes sense. Something akin to what the central banks do by setting interest rates, but algorithmic, leading to a 'natural' (rather than manipulated) level of inflation"
P.S.
"If we would have four years long network difficulty regression - then it's emergency, and new code handling such danger - should delay halving to the next halving, until difficulty will recover"
Media are doing this horrible, inside job towards 500 million people...
"Almost the entire mass culture in the world, the extensive entertainment industry, the film and music industry, social media, countless directors, actors, singers, celebrities, influencers and trendsetters work on this. They instill in subsequent generations the belief that the most important thing in the world is the "self" and satisfying its desires, desires, whims, and fancies. Career, consumption, entertainment. In this perspective, sacrifice, renunciation or offering for others make no sense. There is no sense in giving your life for another. "You only have one life, why should you give it to others?"

If it's done - it's done 1000 days too late.

This is the best Bitcoin meme. Ever."
"An old statement “Bad money drives out good.” has become increasingly popular in recent years. The original statement is attributed to Nicolaus Copernicus, the great Polish thinker educated in Italy. A mathematician, an astronomer, a physician, a classics scholar, a translator, a governor, a diplomat and an economist, Copernicus is indeed one of the most brilliant minds that ever lived on earth.
During his old age, a young economist by the name of Thomas Gresham, further expanded the concept initiated by Copernicus and he made an economic law out of it..."
but sir somehow "forgot" about the origin... :/
As you can see, it's not a big deal to write: Copernicus-Gresham's Law...
MoE maxxing isn't at odds with SoV, SoV was just always inevitable, and seems that battle has been won before it even began... The real battle is for MoE (Lightning) maximalism
This.
SoV battle has been won due to "happy printing", which is obvious pain for savers.
MoE battle will be harder because this pain above is not so big/visible in MoE area.
And harder battle yet due to Copernicus' Law ;)
