Hi, I’m Mauricio, founder of Once Upon a Bit.

I’m building a noncustodial way for adults who already own bitcoin to give a small amount to a child, wrapped in an illustrated story and a grown-up-guided wallet experience. The service never holds the gift or its private key.

I’m here to learn from bitcoiners thinking about families, education, gifting, and self-custody—and to share what I learn while building.
